Is parking available at the hotel?

The hotel has ample parking spaces and they are available free of charge, as well as ample bus parking.

What is the reception opening hours?

The reception is open 24 hours, and our team will be at your service.

At what time is check-in?

Check-in at the hotel is from 2pm.

At what time is check-out?

Check-out is at 10:30am.

Do you offer handicapped rooms?

Yes, the hotel has Superior Access rooms with appropriate equipment. You can see under “Rooms” for more information

Can I reserve a parking bay?

It is not possible to reserve a parking bay as it is available on a first come first serve basis.

Can I also book breakfast online? What does it cost?

The breakfast is already included in the room rate.
For day visitors the Sunny Breakfast is available at R150 per person.

Is a half or full board available?

Yes, you can either book the meals after choosing a room or you can book one directly from one of our attractive packages.

Is it possible to book spa treatments?

Yes, spa treatments can also be booked like breakfast and other meals. Please note the On The Go Spa is run by an independent therapist. Bookings via zgilivane@gmail.com.

Can I bring my pet?

Please note that for hygienic reasons pets are not allowed in the hotel. Only service dogs allowed and will need to be arranged prior to booking.

Where can I see the hotel rates? How much is a room/night?

Our rates are available through the “Check Now” button on the website. You can easily enter the arrival dates in our booking engine and our system will search the best available rates for you.

Yes, we have per-room and per-person rates, based on the package selection.

Do the costs vary from day to day?

No. Generally, rates will remain the same for the specific year.

Can I book two rooms of different categories?

Is Wi-Fi available at the hotel/in the room?

Yes, high speed uncapped WiFi is available free of charge in the rooms and in all the public areas of the hotel.

What are the sizes of the rooms?

The sizes of the rooms are of approximately 20m².

Can I reserve a table in the restaurant?

Yes, you can make a table reservation for the Watercress restaurant at the Hotel. Contact us directly on 041 408 4700 or email us on info@sunrisehotel.com.

Do you offer non-smoking rooms?

All rooms at the hotel are non-smoking rooms. There are designated smoking areas on the premises.

Do you offer child rates?

Yes, we offer family-friendly rates. Children from 3-12 years are offered discounted meals.

Can I use the spa area even if I am not staying in your hotel?

Do you offer hotel shuttles, for example to the nearest airport?

Yes, we offer a hotel shuttle at an additional cost. Advanced bookings are preferred.

Can I have breakfast/dinner even if I am not staying in your hotel?

Yes, of course you can enjoy a meal or drink in one of our restaurants or bars. You may also reserve a table.

Are special requests, such as gluten-free or halaal meals manageable?

We are always trying to ensure guest satisfaction, we offer halaal meals at an additional cost and gluten or lactose-free food - please contact the hotel on 041 408 4700 or emai us on info@sunrisehotel.com with your special needs; due to certain meals being outsourced we do require advanced notice to arrange these meals.

Where can I get a copy of my invoice after departure?

What should I do if I lost or forgot something in my room?

All lost and found items handed in will be kept at our security. Please contact the hotel directly on 041 408 4700 or email us on info@sunrisehotel.com to make collection arrangements.

Where can I find maps and directions to my hotel?

When on the hotel’s web page, click on the “Contact Us” tab. Here, you’ll find contact details for the hotel. Scroll down further to the section on how to get to the hotel. This will include directions from Google maps helping you find the hotel from your chosen location, via car, public transport or on foot.

How do I request an early check-in or late check-out with the hotel?

Since hotel policies regarding early check-in (generally before 2:00 pm) or late checkout (generally after 12:00 pm, please call the hotel directly prior to your arrival to make any necessary arrangements. What is your policy regarding cancellations?

If your travel plans change, you can cancel or modify your reservation in accordance with the hotel's cancellation policy as stated during the reservation process.

Will I be charged for extra guests occupying my room?

Hotel room rates vary by date and by the number of adults occupying a single room. To accommodate more guests, you need to change your reservation. You will be notified of any additional charges prior to confirming your updated reservation.
